What’s the difference between the Fathom Portfolio
and Fathom Pro subscriptions?

Fathom Portfolio is a new, cost-effective subscription designed for accounting firms that need oversight of an entire client base at a glance. It allows you to monitor, identify, and engage with clients more efficiently without requiring the full Fathom feature set for every company.

Fathom Pro (formerly just “Fathom”) remains the full-featured financial insights and analysis tool you know and love, providing deep reporting, forecasting, and performance tracking. Portfolio is built to complement Pro, making client management smarter, simpler, and scalable for accounting firms who could benefit from visibility over an entire client base.

Together, these subscription types form the full offering from Fathom.

Is there a minimum term?

No. Fathom is a monthly pay as you go service with no contracts. If you decide to cancel, your subscription will not renew at the end of your monthly billing cycle.

Do I pay for consolidated groups?

Consolidated groups are free of charge and there is no limit on how many consolidated groups you can create.

What security measures are in place?

At Fathom, security and data protection are top priorities. As such, Fathom Portfolio is built with enterprise-grade security measures to ensure your firm’s and your clients' data remain protected at all times.

How can I pay for Fathom

We accept payments via Visa, MasterCard and AMEX. Payments are processed via a secure payment gateway. Credit card details can be entered within Fathom, either during or after your free trial

Can I change plans at any time?

You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from within your account. If you upgrade your plan, you will immediately be able to add additional companies.

Upgrading, downgrading and changing your
subscription plan?

Fathom billing occurs once a month and you are able to change your subscription plan at any time before the next billing date.

Upgrades will occur automatically to ensure you remain on the optimal plan as you add companies to your Fathom account.

Downgrades do not occur automatically as users often wish to retain available company slots even when they delete or remove a company from their Fathom account. Therefore, if you delete or remove a company to decrease the amount of billable companies on your Fathom account, you will want to change your subscription plan as well. Learn more here.

Can I trial the Fathom functionality for free?

Yes! All functionality is automatically included in a Fathom trial.
However, when first trialing Portfolio, your dashboard will be empty (since no companies have yet been added). To ensure a smooth experience, we’ll provide guides and tooltips to show how Fathom helps you.
